Oatmeal and protein sponge cake

How can it be possible to make an oatmeal and protein cake at the same time? We are facing a very simple recipe to make and very nutritious. It is possible that you are tired of always taking your protein in the form of smoothies, so we propose you to make a delicious cake. It does not matter if you take protein from chocolate, vanilla, coffee or any other flavor, all the proteins are valid in this recipe. In addition, you will especially like being your favorite flavor.

We have used oatmeal (crushed flakes) and unsweetened almond vegetable milk; as we always say: you can adapt the recipe to the ingredients that you like the most or that you have at your fingertips.

In each oatmeal cake we take we will find 527 calories, 45.3 grams of protein, 42.9 grams of carbohydrates and 16.7 grams of fat. There is nothing better than cooking your own cake, using the minimum ingredients and keeping your head free of conscience charges.

Ingredients

  • 80 grams of oats
  • 100 ml unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 scoop of protein
  • 1 teaspoon of stevia

Preparation

In a bowl…

Mix the crushed oats (as if it were flour), milk, egg and scoop of protein until everything is well integrated. If you want to give it a sweet touch, add stevia, although it is not mandatory.

To the mold!

Grease the mold with a little olive oil so that it does not stick. You can also use baking paper, instead of greasing it.

Microwave!

We put it in the microwave for 2 minutes on each side.
Before eating, let it cool so you can appreciate the taste.
