In Nutrimarket you can find …

  • Pasteurized egg whites

Ingredients

  • 1 can of drained 260g black beans (black beans)
  • 100g whole wheat spelled flour
  • 1 sachet of baking yeast powder
  • 1 pinch of pink Himalayan salt
  • 10 egg whites
  • 50ml warm water (the bottom of a glass to dilute the yeast)

Preparation

In a blender …

We put all the ingredients except the yeast and the water.

In a glass…

We dilute the yeast with warm water.

Then…

Pour the yeast mixture into the mixer glass. We beat for 2 minutes until we get a homogeneous mixture, quite thick (but nothing to do with traditional bread dough, it is much more liquid; it cannot be handled with your hands).

We preheat the oven to 180ºC …

We take a rectangular mold (there are specific ones for sliced bread, they are strong and a little higher than those of biscuits).

In that mold …

We place the mixture and bake for approximately 25-30 ', ensuring that it does not burn.

With a knife or toothpick …

We puncture the dough and if it comes out clean, it is ready to be removed, if it comes out dirty, we put it back in for 5 more minutes.

To end…

Let cool and cut into sheets. You can toast them to make it even more authentic.

TO CONSIDER

This is a low carb bread relative to all the breads you can find or even make at home. Why? for the simple reason that it is made with little flour and with beans that are lower in carbohydrates and give us much more volume and quantity in the recipe.
