Homemade snacks and snacks for Christmas

The countdown begins to enter Christmas dates and the entrees, canapés and appetizers are in charge of putting color and the combination of flavors on the tables of these dates. They are a fantastic option to show off your menu and serve original dishes in front of your family and friends, and that will undoubtedly mark the success of your meal.

Here I leave you some healthy options so that we do not break our healthy lifestyle, and we can cope with these holidays:

  • Celery with nuts and peanut butter: a mixture of fiber, carbohydrates and proteins. Open the celery, we will spread the peanut butter and add nuts.
  • Sweet protein sauce with apple : sweet and satisfying, perfect to treat ourselves. The only thing we will need is almond butter, Greek yogurt, honey, cinnamon and chopped apple. We will mix the butter with the honey and the yogurt, obtaining a homogeneous mass, on top of it we will incorporate the apple pieces and we will give the cinnamon touch to taste.
  • Avocado toasts with mozzarella and cherry tomato : we are going to give a little healthy fat to the body, since it is one of the macronutrients necessary for the proper functioning of our body; and a fresh touch of tomato with mozzarella. We will simply need some toast, a mozzarella base, rolled avocado and the tomato cut into small cubes, with a little oregano.
  • Dates with cashews and peanut butter: it offers us a sweet touch that we really want on this Christmas season, it is a highly recommended snack for athletes, it is high in protein and healthy fats. We open the date in half, detaching ourselves from the bone inside and we will introduce the cashew dipped in the peanut butter and ready to serve.
  • Crispy almonds and banana bathed with defatted fresh cheese : are you in a hurry? We will only use three ingredients and one we will have a dish for the sweet tooth. In a bowl we put the beaten fresh cheese, adding the thinly sliced banana and the chopped almonds to taste.
  • Chupa chups of goat cheese : let's go back to childhood for a moment, creativity first; We will use goat cheese, chopped pistachios, fresh beaten cheese, chopped walnuts and a little Provencal herbs. We will beat all the ingredients, except the nuts. We will keep the mixture in the fridge for about 50 minutes, then we will make balls and pass them through the chopped nuts and they are in the form of chupa chups, pricking them with sticks of skewers.
  • Zucchini canapé with serrano ham and mozzarella : We will cut the zucchini into slices and we will pass them on the griddle, once one of the zucchini faces is hot, we turn it over and place it on top with serrano ham and add the mozzarella to finish everything to make on the plate.
