Chicken-based protein pizza

Chicken, a great ally for those who follow a fitness lifestyle. Generally we cook it on the grill and accompany it with vegetables, salad or the classic brown rice and the truth, this can get a little boring. Thinking about how to turn this food around, we bring you this protein pizza with a base made of chicken .

The preparation of this recipe is much simpler than that of a classic pizza . You will not have to be aware of amounts of flour, yeast, or waste your time waiting for the dough to rest. We are not only looking for a healthy recipe , but also quick to make and consume .

As for the additional ingredients to put on top of the base, you can use the ones you like the most: peppers, spinach, mushrooms, pieces of chicken … As long as they are fresh, they will be welcome!

We also recommend that you prepare the tomato sauce yourself, as we show you below. Most tomato sauces found in supermarkets have a lot of sugars and unhealthy preservatives.

The recipe is designed for one serving, but if you want to make more diners you just have to multiply the amounts. Forget the regrets about eating pizza at night, now you can afford the luxury!

Ingredients

  • 100 gr of chicken breast
  • 1 egg
  • Salt
  • Pinch oregano or rosemary
  • 2 ripe tomatoes
  • Hot sauce and bbq 0% sugars (optional)
  • Light cheese
  • Black olives
  • 1 red pepper

Preparation

Preparation of the dough

Cut the breast into small pieces and put it in the mixer together with the egg, rosemary and salt. We beat until there is a homogeneous mass.

We put it on the tray

In a baking tray, place vegetable paper and pour the mixture. With a spatula or spoon we spread the mixture in the way we want and leaving it as thin as possible.

Baked!

With the oven previously heated to 220º, we put the dough for about 10-12 minutes.

Tomatoes, in the pan

In a frying pan with a little oil, we put the peeled and chopped tomatoes. We wait for the water they contain to evaporate and remove.

We pour over the dough

We take the dough out of the oven and turn it over.

We put the tomato on top as the base of the dough. If we want a different flavor we can add bbq sauce 0% sugars or hot sauce.

We also put the cheese, the olives and the peppers.

We put it back in the oven for about 15 min, ensuring that it does not burn us.

Serve it

Once you have it ready, we sprinkle a little oregano or rosemary on it, whatever you like the most and enjoy!
