Cashew and Chocolate Cookies

To prevent this from happening, we show you a totally real food recipe that is very easy to make. Who does not like cookies? There's no way anyone could say they wouldn't dare try these cashew, oatmeal, and chocolate cookies.

The other day I was about to buy some oatmeal cookies and nuts that I saw in the supermarket, but when I turned the container I discovered the amount of sugars and oils it contained. To satiate the craving, I've decided to create my own version of the cookies, with my favorite nut: cashews.

Use real ingredients

As you will see, all the ingredients are in their original form. We use crushed oat flakes, natural cashews, 100% cocoa powder and eggs. The only type of sugar (if you want to add it) that I used was half a tablespoon of honey. That amount is almost negligible for the amounts we use, so don't be afraid.

In case you do not like chocolate, you can not add it and you will have some simple nuts cookies. In 20 minutes I had the cashew nut cookies ready, and you will see that the preparation is very simple.

Ingredients

  • 100 grams of natural anarch
  • 60 grams of ground oat flakes
  • 1 tablespoon of 100% cocoa
  • Half tablespoon of honey
  • 2 eggs

Preparation

Grind the cashews and flakes

With the help of a mixer, we crush the cashews to make flour. It is important not to crush too much, so that it does not start to loosen the fat and get too creamy.

Set aside in a bowl and crush the oat flakes until you get flour.

We incorporate the rest of the ingredients

In a bowl, mix the crushed cashews, oat flakes, cocoa powder, honey and semi-beaten eggs. We remove with the help of a spoon and mix all the ingredients very well.

We preheat the oven to 180ºC, above and below.

Baked!

In a tray, we place baking paper or vegetable paper and shape our cookies.
Each cookie will be the amount of a spoon.

We crush the dough with our hands to give it the shape we want and put them apart. Don't worry, because they won't expand too much either.

We let them cook for 15 minutes.

To eat!

We let them cool to room temperature, and they would be ready to eat.
