Tuna and Cabalacín burgers

Eating hamburgers should not be a mental torture. We always recommend cooking at home

to be sure of the ingredients that we are going to take. If we want to buy pre-made hamburgers, we will find sweeteners, fats and salts that are not healthy at all.

In this case, we bring you a mostly protein recipe (tuna and egg). It can be an option for those who follow a low carbohydrate diet or also for those who want to implement the vegetable in their dishes. The zucchini goes completely unnoticed, and you can change it for any vegetable that you like more (carrot, peppers, eggplant …).

Add spices

On some occasions we have recommended the use of spices for their beneficial contribution to our body. You will also avoid abusing the salt to give flavor. We have only added onion powder, but you can add curry, turmeric, paprika, garlic powder, pepper … Try spices until you find the ideal point in your burgers.

Ingredients

  • 4 cans of tuna in brine
  • 1 zucchini
  • 1 egg
  • Onion powder
  • a pinch of salt

Preparation

We cook the zucchini

Grate the zucchini and leave it to sauté in a frying pan with a splash of olive oil. Add the onion powder and a pinch of salt until all the water evaporates.

We create a dough

Drain the cans of tuna in brine and put them in the mixer next to the egg. We crush well until there is a homogeneous mass.

We unite and shape

We combine the tuna dough with the zucchini with a spatula or a wooden spoon.
We take the mold that we prefer to shape our hamburgers.

In the pan!

We brown them a little bit in the pan. We will get about 4 well-dispatched burgers or 6 more tiny ones.

To enjoy!
