FitGrid, now available for iOS and Android , selects live and face-to-face classes from real fitness studios around the world and allows users to connect through in-app messages . That way, you can connect with other members through the messaging feature that you might not otherwise be able to talk to. In addition, you can connect with friends in the application and receive notifications of the classes they are taking so you can join them.
The platform is created under the thought that people could connect with each other before class, feel more comfortable entering and have the ability to understand what you are getting into by going to class.
Classes in the app include gym chains as well as small, independent studios. Users can also preview what to expect from the class, connect with the monitor, and see if others in the class are willing to connect or are just there to train.
