In February 2020, the new Nike x Off-White Rubber Dunk shoes were unveiled, fusing elements of the Nike Pegasus line with the Dunk to honor Nike's legacy of technical innovation and a nod to the history of skateboarding experimentation.

Physical characteristics and design
The new Nike x Off-White Rubber Dunk features exposed Air on the sole; with the idea of incorporating past concepts into a new era: designing with a purpose and cultural relevance to create something new.
An exposed air pocket in the heel embodies the design. It sits on a flexible core sole , itself a testament to technical innovation – few rubber outsole designs reveal Air. The upper takes its shape from the consideration of technical runners of the late 90s and early 2000s. " We loved the additional overlays, offsets and printing that were used in running shoes of this era. " , says the brand.
Due to its color combinations, the Rubber Dunk is presented in three versions with references to different times. Gold celebrates Atlanta '96 outright, white is an homage to the general release color schemes of the 2000s, and black would be the go-to choice for day-to-day wear.
Price and release date
The Nike x Off-White Rubber Dunk will launch globally on October 1 starting at 9:00 am , in extended sizes for adults, preschoolers and toddlers. You find them available on their official website and in some selected points of sale.
The sale price will be € 189.99 , and each color combination will be launched with exclusive regional availability: the Black, White and Green Strike color combination in the Americas; the University Gold and Black color scheme in China and Asia-Pacific; the color white and university blue in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
