Tips to avoid sun marks when we do sports

Playing sports outdoors requires sun protection, be it summer or winter. Don't trust it to be cold! But you will also surely be uncomfortable having the typical line on your skin that makes you look like you are wearing leggings. Sun marks on clothing, socks or glasses is very common and almost inevitable, but we are going to give you some tips to make it lighter.

Use sunscreen

Obviously, it is the most fundamental rule to avoid burning ourselves and leaving red marks on our skin. Use protection with a factor between 25 and 80, depending on your skin type. Throw it half an hour before going out to do sports to promote its absorption and expand it in all the areas that you have exposed.

Do sports at certain times

Going out before 10 in the morning and after 18 in the afternoon will help the sun not hit so hard. Never go out in the hottest hours, since your performance will also be lower and you will end up doing a bad workout. Training at the hours that we have recommended, solar radiation will be much less and will not have the same effect on your skin.

Pay attention to the clothes

Bet on technical sportswear. It favors breathability and many garments contain sunscreens. Find out well before buying some tights or a t-shirt, so the typical marks of "brown bricklayer" will reduce them considerably.

Waterproof protectors

You will think that it is foolish to put on sun protection if you are going to swim in the sea or in the pool. Error! Water acts as a reflection and favors the enhancement of ultraviolet radiation. Look for protectors that are resistant to sweat and water.
It is true that as we sweat, we will lose protector. That is why it is convenient to keep replenishing throughout the training. Use your breaks to stretch or drink water to add cream again.

Don't do crazy things

To great ills, great remedies? In the case of the sun, no. Do not think about using tanning enhancers, such as oils, to get an even tan in those areas where you have a sun mark. Remember that getting brown is a symptom of burning the skin, so you do not favor your dermis anything by using products that "fry" it.
If you don't like the brand, opt for wipes or cream self-tanners. Although you can always boast that you have that irregular tan to stay active and healthy.
