Fernando Grande-Marlaska was born in Bilbao in 1962 and has a degree from Deusto University in Economic Law . After that, he served as a magistrate and also as president in one of the sections of the Vizcaya Provincial Court.
Years later, in 2003, he decided to move to Madrid to be part of the Audiencia Nacional . Ten years later he is elected president in the Provincial Court in the Criminal Chamber. He has also served as a teacher.
