Nobody is bitter about a sweet, but when we are on a fat loss plan or want to take care of our diet, it can be unthinkable to introduce desserts or sweet snacks. Take it easy, I have the solution! We know that fruit consumption is essential in a healthy and balanced diet, so nothing could go wrong if we make some homemade chocolates.
Strawberry or any other fruit
Actually you can choose the fruit that you like the most (banana, apple, melon, peach …), but with strawberries there are some very original snacks to surprise any guest. Also, they are filled with cashew cream, so the surprise will be even greater when you bite down.
Although there is a belief that fruit makes you fat or creates cellulite, the reality is that we could not choose a healthier food for snacks or desserts. If we also make a sweet recipe for those moments when cravings knock on our door, we will be avoiding the temptation to consume ultra-processed products.
This recipe is also a great idea when you don't know how to take advantage of the fruit, beyond eating it fresh or in smoothies. If they are about to become overripe, this may be a solution to encourage you to consume them as soon as possible.
Ingredients
- 10 strawberries
- 20 grams of pitted dates
- 30 grams of natural cashews
- 25 grams of chocolate 85% cocoa
- 20 grams of coconut oil
- 10 ml of water
Preparation
In a mixer or processor, put the dates, cashews and water. Beat until smooth.
We cut the strawberries into two pieces, considerably thick.
Once we have prepared the cashew cream and the cut strawberries, we spread the cream between the two strawberry slices (as if it were a sandwich) and put them in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes.
Heat the chocolate together with the coconut oil in the microwave, until it melts. Be careful not to burn it excessively.
We bathe the snacks with the hot chocolate and put them back in the fridge for about 10 minutes.
