Apple and chocolate lollipops

Pay attention to the ingredients

You can make two versions: the healthy ones or the ones loaded with sugar. Obviously, we are looking for the version that provides the best values. To do this, we have to ensure that we consume a chocolate of more than 80% cocoa, and check that the first ingredient is cocoa paste.
In addition, it is important that the chosen almonds are natural or toasted, but not fried or dipped in salt. You will not need to sweeten the lollipops with anything, the apple provides the necessary sweetness.

Ingredients

  • 1 red apple
  • Sliced almonds
  • 125 grams of chocolate 90% cocoa
  • Lollipop sticks

Preparation

We melt the chocolate

We start by melting the chocolate in a water bath. We bring water to a boil in a pot and, in a smaller saucepan, we put the chopped chocolate.

Place the chocolate saucepan on the pot with hot water and move the chocolate until it melts completely.

We cut the segments

We cut the apple into wedges and prick the sticks to create our lollipops.

We create the lollipops

Spread each of the apple slices in the chocolate and let the excess drain off. Right at this moment, we toss the almonds over the top and prick each lollipop on a piece of white cork so that they remain standing.

Do the same with the other apple pieces and put them in the refrigerator until the chocolate is completely solid.
