How many times have you traveled by plane without knowing that you can order various sweets and other things for free. If you are a person who is going to travel for the first time or have already done so, you should know some things that you can ask for on your flights by plane and that until now you did not know. For example, maybe you did not know that from alcoholic beverages to ibuprofen can be ordered for free.

What can I ask for on a flight for free?
1. The entire content of a soda can
Typically, flight attendants hand out half a can of water, which is combined with an amount of ice. That is simply not enough to quench your thirst.
Next time, you can order the whole can, no problem, as there is often content in the cans to continue to distribute to passengers.
2. Hot chocolate
Most airlines offer hot chocolate . You can also order coffee or tea, if you prefer.
Etithad Airways and Southwest Airlines are two airlines that always offer hot chocolate. Qantas airline even has hot chocolate made from Cadbury chocolates to satisfy their customers.
3. Foster care
For parents traveling with their children, it is good to have some alternative when they need to be away for a few minutes during the flight. In that sense, many flight attendants will be happy to briefly help you with your children.
Eithad Airways offers “in-flight babysitters” who can organize everything and provide fun for your children, from games to magic tricks for children. On the other, Gulf Air has its “babysitter from heaven” who can help you with boarding and disembarking.
4. Disinfectant wipes
Airplanes themselves have a lot of germs, which is why it is advisable to clean the table surfaces of the trays to avoid a cold.
If you forgot to pack your own disinfectant wipes, you can ask your flight attendant, they usually always have them on hand.
5. Grooming packages
On longer flights, some airlines stock items like earplugs, pens, combs, and playing cards, and give them away to their customers.
Virgin Atlantic offers free courtesy packages, while Etihad on very long flights offers a package that includes socks, a toothbrush and toothpaste, and earplugs.
6. Extra snacks
The free snacks offered on flights are small and can often leave us hungry; however, you can ask for more.
7. Alcohol
There are several airlines that still offer free drinks, for example, Lufthansa offers a selection of champagne, wine, and beers on their flights, while Finnair offers complimentary beer and wine.
Etihad also offers passengers a free bar service, with a wide range of beers, wines and spirits to choose from.
8. Basic medications and bandages
Although it depends on airline regulations, most flights are equipped with basic medications such as pain relievers and antacids.
9. Water bottles
Whether you need water or want to avoid tap water on airplanes, airlines have small bottles of water on hand that they can supply to passengers on request.
