First images of the Reebok Legacy Lifter IIs, what a change!

Attention all weight lifters and weight lifting shoe lovers, the Reebok Legacy II is about to arrive!

Two days ago, Wit Fitness, a multi-brand and sports online retailer, quietly shared a page for the new Reebok Legacy II shoes. In addition to a few pages hosting photos for male and female models, not much additional information has been shared about them.

There is clear text at the bottom of the page that describes the shoe, but there is not much data that speaks in depth of the models. On the page, the text reads, " Hit the platform with these men's lift shoes. They have a textile upper for a breathable feel. The raised heel keeps you stable on the platform so you can set up your new PR ."

So what can we do without more formal information about the shoe and the release date? We can pass out from the photos and do deductive reasoning about building this model based on the photos that have been shared.

Possible new features

From what we can tell, the heel construction looks somewhat similar to the Reebok Nano X , as the medial and lateral TPU layer wraps over the boot of the shoe. There also appears to be an additional TPU strap that provides additional security towards the upper heel. I guess that's to avoid any kind of heel slip.

The exterior design looks like a mix of multiple materials including mesh, lightweight synthetic leather, and textile material, however this is only based on what we can see from the photos. The brand seems to stick to the old school theme that some of Reebok's latest coaches have bragged about, which I think looks sweet. It is difficult to get an old school look.

Possibly the biggest and most noticeable change is the removal of the double strap construction . The Reebok Legacy Lifter II have a unique, thicker midfoot strap that crosses the midfoot. Construction appears to be nylon, but we'll have to wait to receive the information before making an official statement.

Considering this change and the reworked exterior construction, I'm curious to see how much these shoes will weigh compared to the Legacy Lifter and Legacy Lifter Flexweave models.

At this time, we are still waiting for an official release date and when we receive it, we will make sure to update this article accordingly. Like the price, there is still no official confirmation. What do you think about the latest model? Do you like the new look?
