There are basically two ways to enjoy the timeline of the Marvel Cinematic Universe , and we’ll look at both in this article: the first approach is centered on following the order by release date in theaters and on television; and the second is to see all the movies based on when the events occurred, that is, in chronological order.
If you’ve never seen Marvel movies
If the Marvel Universe has never been your thing, but now you’re curious, your best option is to follow the order by release date . If you’ve already seen some or all of the Marvel movies

Chronological order of Marvel movies
While watching Marvel movies in the order they came out makes a lot of sense, it’s important to note that doing so results in viewers misunderstanding the timeline of all the facts and becoming confused. Therefore, watching the movies in linear order is the best option to know how events unfold with some logic.
Marvel Universe timeline
We have divided the chronology of the phases of Marvel, but there are some ambiguities in this time course : Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 was made within Phase Three, but it happens almost immediately after its predecessor; Captain Marvel was one of the final films in Phase Three, but it is set before most of Phase One; And some TV series can’t exactly fit between the different phases of the movie.
Also, while Marvel claims that Spider-Man: Far From Home is the last movie in Phase Three, it takes place after the first two Disney + releases, so we ‘ve adjusted the order to accommodate this.
