Chocolate custard (persimmon based)

Chocolate custard has starred in many desserts from our childhood, and we can now emulate memories again. Bypassing the typical supermarkets, full of sugars, we teach you how to make some fast and without much effort. With this recipe you don't need more than three ingredients: a ripe persimmon (other than persimon, if possible), a natural yogurt (or Greek or beaten cheese) and 100% pure cocoa.

Why khaki-based?

Persimmon is a typical fruit of the autumn and winter season, so taking advantage of this time to make chocolate custard is a success. This fruit provides a texture similar to that of the famous dessert and leaves a fairly smooth flavor. It is common that many people do not like persimmon very much, so you can encourage yourself to do it to introduce this food in your diet. In case you absolutely hate it, try papaya or peach.
Logically, we will find a different flavor, but very rich and nutritious.

Regarding the yogurt to choose, I personally like the natural or the fresh beaten cheese, but you can get some Greek. The intention is that there is a good supply of protein, so that it can become a perfect post-workout snack.

  • 1 plain yogurt
  • Pure cocoa to taste

Everything in one step

Crush the persimmon with the plain yogurt. Add cocoa to taste and stir well until there is a homogeneous custard in texture and color.
