4 habits of conscious people

1. They don’t get hooked on their emotions

In moments of tension or stress you can act impulsively, letting yourself be carried away by your negative emotions without stopping to think before acting. However, conscious people do not react to these feelings. Instead, they react in a calm and controlled manner.

In other words, they recognize and regulate their emotions, classifying and labeling them, thus finding more rational and compassionate ways for themselves to move on.

2. Pay attention to your repetitive thoughts

During the day you have from 60 to 70,000 thoughts, of which 98% are usually repetitive. The idea is that being a conscious person, these exaggerated, irrational or confusing thoughts are looked for that can generate undue or unnecessary worry. In this way, constructive self-discipline is used, regulating the thoughts we have and self-controlling what we do about them.

3. They are curious and ask questions.

By being a conscientious person, you begin to develop your listening skills much better. The ideal is to ask open questions, from empathy and vulnerability. This will generate greater psychological security in your environment.

Here you use self-reflection , helping you internalize and recognize what is working well in the moment you are living, giving way to the practice of gratitude and appreciation without judgment. This is fundamental within the practice of mindfulness.

4. They embrace the imperfection of themselves and of others.

The constant search for perfection exhausts and stresses, which makes happiness an elusive goal.

People who practice mindfulness are aware of this and therefore give up seeking perfection and choose to accept their strengths and weaknesses equally .
